Ann McErlane Realtor, GRI - Broker/Associate
Hello, and thank you for visiting my real estate website. Let me tell you just a little about Yucca Valley, California.
We are just about 30 minutes from Palm Springs and Palm Desert, the golf capitols of the world.
In our back yard is the world famous Joshua Tree National Park. The Park near Yucca Valley is famous for
all the beautiful rock formations, Joshua Trees and is known to be one of the best areas for rock climbing.
I have lived and owned real estate in the Morongo Basin, specifically real estate in Yucca Valley, since 1975 and never ever regret being here in this most beautiful place. My husband and I raised our two sons in this wonderful town of Yucca Valley and they had a great time growing up and learning about the desert life. Having the famous Pioneertown just 3 miles away, we would take them to Pappy & Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace. Talk about good food and great music! It's worth coming here just to see Pioneertown. The Joshua Tree National Park only a few miles from Yucca Valley was a place that our two sons would go on weekends with friends to camp out underneath the most incredible canopy of stars. The Starry Nights celebration we have here once a year is truly something to behold.
Professionally, I am among the leaders in Yucca Valley real estate sales. Just recently, Home Depot bought land, opened am proud to say that I represented the seller. I have been involved with the Yucca Valley community real estate board, the Desert Communities Association of Realtors, and as a director, Secretary-Teasurer and previously as Secretary-Treasurer when they were the Yucca Valley Board of Realtors. I was the Real Estate Coordinator of the Basin Wide Foundation, past president and currently a member of Business Network International (BNI). I am a long-standing member of the Yucca Valley Chamber of Commerce and involved with the California Welcome Center.
I know the Morongo Basin desert, from Landers where the beautiful orchids of Gubler Orchids grow to the Joshua Tree National Park where hiking, camping, star gazing and rock climbing are enjoyed. From the Morongo Valley and the Morongo Reserve to Wonder Valley and what people are now calling, the New Bohemia and all in between. Over 30+ years in this High Desert has made me a believer. You must come enjoy the lifestyle and breathe the clean air of the desert!
